Vectorworks, Inc. Launches 2023 Version of BIM and CAD Product Line
Global design and BIM software provider Vectorworks, Inc. releases Vectorworks 2023, featuring performance improvements and tools developed to give users more time to design. The 2023 release includes Vectorworks Architect, Landmark, Spotlight, Fundamentals, Braceworks, ConnectCAD and Vision with the English-language editions of these versions available today.

FOR-A to Introduce First in Software-Based Line Up for Live Remote Production Applications
New at IBC this year will be the first two introductions in a new product category from FOR-A – the SOAR-A series. Marshall to Highlight Transition to NDI®|HX3 on PTZ and Zoom Cameras at IBC 2022
Marshall Electronics, a leading manufacturer of broadcast and proAV cameras and equipment, will showcase its CV730-ND3 PTZ Camera at the 2022 IBC Show (Stand 11.C23), which features the latest NDI®|HX3 technology. Designed to accommodate broadcast production facilities looking to produce high-impact content despite having less staff on-site and limited IP bandwidth, the CV730-ND3 PTZ camera uses the new NDI|HX3 platform to deliver ultra-low latency and superior video quality in less bandwidth required by Full-NDI enabled cameras.
The CV730-ND3 features a premium Sony 4K sensor with 9 million pixels and square pixel array designed behind a long 30x optical zoom range (6.5~ 202mm). In addition, all Marshall PTZ cameras boast a flexible and smooth 340° horizontal pan range with 120°vertical tilt with speed adjustments from slow to fast depending on how quickly you want to setup the next shot. This provides a wide range of movement options to content creators when capturing high-quality UHD or HD video.
Magewell to Launch Advanced Live Encoder for Streaming and IP Workflows at IBC2022
Magewell is poised to unveil a powerful new flagship model in its Ultra Encode family of universal live media encoders for applications ranging from live streaming to IP-based production and AV-over-IP. The new Ultra Encode AIO builds on the flexibility of the company’s original Ultra Encode models with expanded features including HDMI and SDI input connectivity in a single unit; 4K encoding and streaming from the HDMI input; simultaneous multi-protocol streaming; higher streaming bitrates; file recording; and much more.

RUSHWORKS PTX Model 3 PRO Pan/Tilt Head
The PTX Model 3 PRO pan/tilt head is the larger, more powerful and versatile successor to the company’s PTX Model 1, Model 1L and Model 2 heads that have been marketed worldwide since 2017. Due to supply line uncertainties and materials shortages, we elected to design and manufacture the PTX Model 3 PRO from the ground up. Now built in Texas, USA, this head addresses the expanding need for a more robust platform capable of handling dimensions and payloads of cameras and lenses from virtually all manufacturers.
To maximize compatibility with a wide range of PTZ controllers, the PTX Model 3 PRO uses VISCA over IP communications protocol, extracting pan and tilt-related commands for controlling speed and direction. This assures that even non-technical volunteers will be able to operate it right out of the box. All joystick and presets incorporate smooth speed ramps that simulate what you expect from a skilled operator using a camera on a high-quality fluid head.
