Pliant Technologies Releases 4-Wire Adapter for MicroCom XR
Offering a solution to enhance the flexibility of its MicroCom XR wireless intercom system, Pliant Technologies announces the new 4-Wire I/O Interface and Two-Way Radio Headset Adapter (PAC-MC4W-IO). Designed with MicroCom XR wireless intercom customers’ workflows in mind, this small-but-mighty solution adds additional users by connecting a MicroCom XR system to a variety of wired and wireless intercom systems that use an industry-standard 4-wire connection. In addition, it also offers a direct intercom interface from the MicroCom XR to many two-way radio devices.

Luminex Releases a New Version of the Araneo Software
Luminex has released its latest Araneo software (release v1 .3.0). In this version, one of the powerful new features is the offline project mode which allows AVL professionals, designers, installers, and integrators to start preparing projects without having access to physical switches and edge devices.
Luminex is taking its unique networking tool to a new level. Previous versions were well accepted by demanding AVL professionals who depend on Araneo to monitor AVL networks equipped with GigaCore switches. This monitoring part has now been greatly enhanced with revamped graphics, improved zoom and pan options, additional workflow enhancements for categorizing devices in zones, and importing and assigning pictures allowing you to navigate and visualize the topology more efficiently.

NAB 2021: New FOR-A 32-Channel Multi Viewer Supports Multi-Format Productions, Customized Layouts
FOR-A Corporation of America today announced the MV‑3240 multi viewer, a 32-channel, multi-format multi viewer that supports customized layouts with up to 25 windows for one 4K output. FOR-A will demonstrate the new MV-3240 at the 2021 NAB Show (Booth C4918), which runs Oct. 10-13 in Las Vegas, Nev.
The MV-3240 supports up to 16 inputs for 6G-SDI and up to 32 inputs for 3G/HD/SD-SDI, as well as HD-to-4K up-resizing. It includes five outputs for 3G/HD-SDI or one output for 12G-SDI, as well as one HDMI output that duplicates the SDI output. Cascading connections between multiple units allows users to expand the number of inputs with low latency. Customized layouts for up to 40 windows for four 2K outputs, as well as optional support for up to 16 inputs for 12G-SDI, are under development.
