BMG Special Brian May Guitars to be Raffled Daily at Booth 5344

Just Add Power (J+P), a leader in Ultra HD over IP distribution, today announced the company will be giving away three custom-designed Brian May guitars at CEDIA 2018, Sept. 4-8 at the San Diego Convention Center, as part of J+P’s partnership with Guitars For Vets (G4V). At the show, J+P will give attendees the chance to win a BMG Special guitar at its booth every day at 3 p.m. The BMG Special is inspired by Brian May’s legendary Red Special guitar, designed by May and his father, and is famous for the unique sound it brought to the music of Queen. This is the third year J+P has held a giveaway to raise support and awareness for G4V and its mission.

“CEDIA is the biggest show of the year for us, and we want to make sure we’re giving back to the community and our veterans in a way that truly rocks,” said Taft Stricklin, sales team manager for J+P. “We’re proud to bring the guitar giveaway back for a third year with the help of Guitars For Vets and Brian May Guitars.”

Each day during the show, J+P will give away one of three of the most recognizable guitars in the world at Booth 5344. For a chance to win, attendees must visit the booth to enter and be present during the daily 3 p.m. drawing. For each guitar given away, G4V will donate an acoustic guitar and a year’s worth of lessons to a veteran. Each winner of a Brian May guitar will have their name put on a guitar donated to the veterans.

Founded in 2007, G4V donates guitars to veterans, helping them readjust to life, cope with the effects of post-traumatic stress disorder, and find hope through the medium of music. GV4 currently operates more than 80 chapters in 40 states with the assistance of over 200 volunteers nationwide. G4V pursues its mission by providing free guitar instruction, a new acoustic guitar, and a guitar accessory kit in a structured program run by volunteers, primarily through U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs facilities and community-based medical centers.
