In April last year, L-Acoustics expanded the spatial sound possibilities for music creators with the launch of the L-ISA Studio software suite. A perfect tool for sound designers, producers, and mixing engineers, L-ISA Studio harnesses the power and versatility of L-Acoustics L ISA technology, making it accessible for sound creators to design immersive audio whenever—and wherever—they’re ready to create. Today, L-Acoustics further expands access to L-ISA Studio, adding unlimited free binaural output capability. The software, compatible with any Mac computer, is available on the L-Acoustics website.
Through L-ISA Studio’s binaural engine, users can create and monitor spatialized audio content from their laptop, using headphones and optional head tracking. L-ISA Studio software accepts up to 96 audio objects and sends 12 audio outputs to any soundcard. All binaural capabilities within L-ISA Studio are now free for an unlimited time.
Marshall Showcases Global and Rolling Shutter Cameras with Genlock at NAB 2022
At NAB 2022 (Booth C1307), Marshall Electronics, a leading manufacturer of broadcast and proAV cameras and equipment, will be highlighting its CV568/CV368 Global Shutter Cameras with Genlock and CV566/CV366 Rolling Shutter Cameras with Genlock. These new POV cameras feature the latest in sensor technology, with the CV568/CV368 Global Shutter Cameras having a 1/1.8” Global Shutter 3.2MP sensor and the CV566/CV366 Genlock POV cameras are built around the next generation Sony 1/2.8″ CMOS solid-state “rolling shutter” image sensor.
The CV568 and CV368 POV camera models offer an impressive 1/1.8” Global Shutter 3.2MP sensor and 25 percent larger pixel size, for ultra-fast, low latency capture even in low light environments. The CV568 Miniature HD Camera is built into the same durable miniature sized body as other Marshall CV503/CV506 cameras, and have rear panel protection, interchangeable M12 lenses, secure locking connections and remote adjust/match features. The CV368 Compact HD Camera follows the same body design as the CV344/CV346 cameras with slightly larger CS mount lens type and a wide variety of variable and fixed lens options available.

Significant Re-Engineering Gives Vectorworks Users a Better Experience on Cloud and Mobile Platforms
Key enhancements to Vectorworks Cloud Services include a new storage integration with OneDrive, improved integrations with Google Drive and a direct connection of the Nomad mobile app to the iOS Files App. Customers can access and process files directly from their preferred cloud storage solution, making it easier to work with existing file structures and saving time. Additionally, region-specific cloud storage will improve Cloud sync speeds and file upload and download speeds.
Visix Releases AxisTV Signage Suite v.1.55 with Analytics and Enhanced Browser Widget
Visix, Inc. has released version 1.55 of their AxisTV Signage Suite software. This latest update gives administrators extensive visibility, tracking and reporting options for their digital signage messages, playlists and users. The new release also provides an updated web browser widget to enhance compatibility with modern webpages.
With the new analytics feature, clients using both cloud and on-premise content management systems can enable tracking and reporting for five areas: Message Playback, Message Approval, Playlist Activity, Content Submission and User Activity. Activation is a simple checkbox, and users can set the number of days to retain data, run reports by date range, choose and rearrange columns within reports; and sort, filter, group and funnel report data with conditional logic.
Magewell Releases Centralized Encoder/Decoder Management Software
Magewell has announced the immediate general availability of the Magewell Cloud multi-device management software. Flexibly deployable on an on-premises server or cloud hosting platform, Magewell Cloud provides centralized configuration and control of multiple Magewell streaming and IP conversion solutions. Two additional, premium Magewell Cloud versions also offer stream management features including SRT relay and protocol conversion.
Magewell will showcase the new software in booth C8508 at the 2022 NAB Show, taking place April 24-27 in Las Vegas.
The Magewell Cloud software makes it easy for integrators, administrators, and IT staff to manage multiple Magewell IP encoders and decoders across multiple sites through an intuitive, browser-based interface. Marshall Electronics, a leading manufacturer of broadcast and proAV cameras and equipment, will introduce the CV730-BHN High-Bandwidth NDI® PTZ Camera at the 2022 NAB Show (Booth C1307). This new 4K robotic PTZ camera contains traditional outputs including two simultaneous SDI (BNC) outputs with genlockable 12GSDI and 3GSDI, as well as HDMI and USB3.0 options at the ready. CV730-BHN also features the ultra-fast and lossless High Bandwidth NDI streaming ability commonly known as Full-NDI, while offering the newly released NDI|HX3 that can deliver similar low-latency and superior quality video performance in slightly less bandwidth network infrastructure.
The CV730-BHN features a Sony 1/1.8” 4K sensor with 9 million pixels and square pixel array packed behind a long 30x optical zoom range (6.5~ 202mm). The CV730-BHN is Full-NDI compatible with streaming options of High-Bandwidth NDI, NDI|HX3 premium video codec, and standard IP (HEVC), while also offering 12GSDI, 3GSDI, HDMI, and USB3.0 outputs. It is feature rich and fits into a wide range of broadcast and proAV applications requiring low latency streaming with various bandwidth networks.
