Pliant® Technologies Announces Dual Listen for MicroCom XR
Pliant Technologies announces the latest MicroCom XR firmware update, which includes the addition of a new Dual Listen feature. Dual Listen gives users the ability to listen to two intercom channels simultaneously. This provides the benefit of monitoring communications on both the A and B channels, while also allowing users to switch between talking on either channels A or B independently. In addition, this new feature is selectable on each pack in the system, giving the individual user a choice between Dual Listen and normal A or B channel communications. Pliant Technologies will showcase this new feature for MicroCom XR, along with its CrewCom and CB2 intercom solutions throughout ISE 2023 (Stand 7G850).

Magewell Launches New Dante-Enabled, Multi-Format IP Audio Converter and Capture Device
Magewell – the award-winning developer of innovative AV interface and IP workflow solutions – today announced the exceptionally flexible Pro Convert Audio DX multi-format IP audio encoder, decoder, and capture device. The company’s first solution with integrated support for Audinate’s Dante® audio networking, the new hardware lets users easily convert audio between Dante®, NDI®, and SRT transport technologies while also seamlessly bridging analog audio, software, and IP networks.

ETC’s iRFR and aRFR Apps – Caring for Your Colleagues
ETC presented Behind the Scenes with a check during LDI for $26,493 representing proceeds from sales of the company’s iRFR and aRFR (Radio Focus Remote) applications. Since the launch of the iRFR in 2009, ETC’s mobile app sales have now generated over $465,000 in donations.

Blustream Shipping New Platinum 8×8 HDBaseT AV Matrix Combining Versatility With Maximum Performance
Leading AV distribution innovator Blustream announced today that it is shipping its new 4K HDMI 2.0 8×8 Platinum Matrix. The PLA88CS combines the global standard of advanced HDBaseT™ to transmit HDMI, ARC, LAN, and bi-directional IR and RS-232 signals up to lengths of 328 feet in 4K UHD and 492 feet in 1080p over a single CAT cable. It can accommodate displays with various resolutions —downscaling 4K videos for lower-resolution displays while maintaining pristine resolution for UHD displays — and elevates the audio experience across multiple formats.

Pliant® Technologies Showcases New CrewCom Control Unit, CCU-08, at LDI 2022
Pliant Technologies, a leading provider of professional wireless intercom solutions, will showcase its CCU-08 CrewCom Control Unit at LDI 2022 (Booth 406). Wisycom Debuts its MTP61 Multiband Transmitter at AES New York 2022
Wisycom will unveil its new MTP61 Transmitter, the latest addition to its Symphony product line, at AES New York (Booth 437). The smallest and lightest multiband bodypack transmitter on the market, the MTP61 has the widest tuning range currently available (470 to 1260MHz). MSolutions Now Shipping Industry-First USB Test Solution
MSolutions, a leading supplier of AV test devices and collaboration solutions, is now shipping its new USB cable test (UCT) module, the AV industry’s first solution for qualifying today’s wealth of USB cables, signal types and connectivity options. The UCT module also helps users understand the power consumption of a USB device in relation to the host, as well as bandwidth, data speeds and the presence of specific wires across the cable that match varied USB specifications.
