Macnica Shines a Light on IPMX Set of Standards at IBC2022

Macnica has played a leadership role in developing and aiding in the definition of emerging open standards that shape Video over IP migration for more than a decade. Macnica now opens a new chapter in that history as a leading proponent of the emerging IPMX set of standards first introduced with the professional AV market in mind.

Introduced by the AIMS Alliance in early 2020, IPMX implements a standards-based approach for AV over IP based on the SMPTE ST 2110 standard. Maestro Original Collection Shapes Artist Sounds Around the World

From London’s The Rolling Stones to The Black Keys in the U.S., artists from around the world have been relying on Maestro’s trailblazing sound since its inception in 1962. AUDAC Launches High-Output Loudspeaker – VEXO Series

Belgian pro audio manufacturer AUDAC is pleased to announce their new VEXO series high-output loudspeaker. The VEXO family consists of six models: VEXO110(A), VEXO112(A), and VEXO115(A) which are available both in active and passive versions. The low-frequency transducer, which is made out of high-quality materials, is combined with a 1.7” voice coil compression driver, enabling high sound pressure levels and a tight driver response with a rotatable 90° x 70° coverage pattern for a wide range of applications. Lectrosonics Announces Global RF Scan Database

Lectrosonics is announcing a Radio Frequency Scan Database for those using wireless microphone systems anywhere in the world. The database hosts scans from in .sdf (Wireless Designer scan data file) or .csv (comma separated values – a common standard) formats. These files can be used to populate frequency coordination software for analysis purposes and to know what a given RF landscape looks like. While anyone can peruse, search, and download the available scan files for their own use, registered users can also upload files for others to access. RF spectrum scans from Hollywood, Singapore, Vancouver, New York, Belgium, and Rio de Janeiro already populate the database.

Wisycom Releases new BFL1 RF-over-fiber Interface at IBC 2022

Wisycom Srl announces its new Wisycom BFL1 RF-over-fiber interface, which will debut at IBC 2022 (Stand 8.D78). A compact, easy-to-set-up module, the BFL1 is an entirely new way for users to support RF coverage and distribution requirements without concern for cable loss. Expanding on Wisycom’s existing RF-over-fiber solutions, the BFL1 features selectable filters, expanded dynamic range, and a long-range Bluetooth 5 programming link.
