Audio-Technica Announces Version 1.1.1 Update for Its Wireless Manager Software

Audio-Technica announces the version 1.1.1 update of its Wireless Manager software, available for immediate download. Wireless Manager is a Mac OS/Windows application for remote configuration, control, monitoring, spectrum management, and frequency coordination of compatible Audio-Technica wireless devices. For those customers who have A-T Wireless Manager previously installed the software will be automatically updated.

Updated features in version 1.1.1 include improved usability, layout and control; enhanced scrolling capability; improved visibility of all frequency coordinated devices; updated and expanded channel list reports; upgraded user tools; and minor bug fixes. The software is compatible with Microsoft Windows 8.1, 10; macOS High Sierra (Version 10.13), macOS Mojave (Version 10.14).

DiGiCo Releases V2.6 Software for S-Series

DiGiCo’s latest V2.6 software update for its S-Series consoles brings a number of significant new features to the popular S21 and S31. These include control of the A164D Wall LCD and A168D Stage for networked audio in installations via the Dante 64@96 DMI, and support for the acclaimed DMI-KLANG, both of which were launched at this year’s ISE show in Amsterdam.

The A164D Wall LCD, a 16-input/4-output I/O expander, and A168D Stage, a portable 16-input/8-output I/O expander, deliver all the connectivity of the original A164 Wall LCD and A168 Stage, but with the additional advantage of Dante connectivity. This not only adds the flexibility and familiarity of the Dante network protocol, but also means that consultants and integrators can take advantage of existing network infrastructure to drop I/O anywhere on the network.

The new features include the support of cue tracking, the NotchLC video codec, NewTek NDI™ version 4.5, and virtual displays as well as a new web-based media manager and a free AWX encoder plug-in for Adobe® Creative Cloud®.

– The support of cue tracking allows users to freely jump from one cue to another in the cue stack, while taking into account all changes recorded between these two cues and adding them to the final result. Now, with cue tracking, you can directly trigger the cue that is needed in the show and the system checks the cues for parameter changes and applies them automatically. The same result is obtained as if the cues were executed in a sequence.

Blackmagic Design today announced a major new software update for the original Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 4.6K camera that adds localization for 11 languages, the ability to embed custom 3D LUTs in Blackmagic RAW clips, new customizable frame guides as well as improved behavior for function buttons. Vectorworks, Inc. Wins Howard County’s Business Recycling and Waste Reduction Award

In conjunction with Earth Day 2020, global design and BIM software provider, Vectorworks, Inc. celebrates their latest award. The Howard County Department of Public Works’ Bureau of Environmental Services, Recycling Division selected Vectorworks as the winner of the 2020 Business Recycling and Waste Reduction Award. This accolade recognizes local businesses for their recycling and waste reduction efforts during the 2019 calendar year.

The winning submission, “Greenworks,” is an environmentally-based project presented at the company’s regular innovation discussions and focuses on methods to create a sustainable work environment. Employees from various teams and departments collaborated on the project that went into full effect a few months later. The project outlined implementing proper traditional recycling techniques and adding a new system to include recycling plastic bags and film packaging, which ultimately becomes Trex decking. Additionally, other initiatives involved purchasing utensils instead of plastic cutlery and replacing water bottles with a water filtering system.
