AUDAC Launches High-Output Loudspeaker – VEXO Series

Belgian pro audio manufacturer AUDAC is pleased to announce their new VEXO series high-output loudspeaker. The VEXO family consists of six models: VEXO110(A), VEXO112(A), and VEXO115(A) which are available both in active and passive versions. The low-frequency transducer, which is made out of high-quality materials, is combined with a 1.7” voice coil compression driver, enabling high sound pressure levels and a tight driver response with a rotatable 90° x 70° coverage pattern for a wide range of applications. Optional 70/100V line transformer modules are available for the passive variants.

Due to the unique driver composition, the VEXO110 achieves a program power handling of no less than 600 Watts (1200W Peak power handling), the VEXO112 achieves 800 Watts (1600W Peak power handling) while the biggest variant in the family, the VEXO115, reaches up to 1000 Watts (2000W Peak power handling). Yet the unique character of these series lies in the creation of a high-fidelity, rich and vibrant sound.

Lectrosonics Announces Global RF Scan Database

Lectrosonics is announcing a Radio Frequency Scan Database for those using wireless microphone systems anywhere in the world. The database hosts scans from in .sdf (Wireless Designer scan data file) or .csv (comma separated values – a common standard) formats. These files can be used to populate frequency coordination software for analysis purposes and to know what a given RF landscape looks like. While anyone can peruse, search, and download the available scan files for their own use, registered users can also upload files for others to access. RF spectrum scans from Hollywood, Singapore, Vancouver, New York, Belgium, and Rio de Janeiro already populate the database.

Marshall Announces Intelligent Auto-Tracking AI Feature on its PTZ Cameras

Marshall Electronics, an industry leading developer and manufacturer of Broadcast proAV video equipment, debuts the CV620-TBI PTZ camera at the 2022 IBC Show (Stand 11.C23). Designed to auto-track and follow presenters using more natural Pan/Tilt/Zoom movement methods with AI accuracy, the CV620-TBI uses new facial recognition technology and intelligently learns motion dynamics of the subject and anticipates movement. This removes much of the guess work for camera intelligence reducing late or inaccurate maneuvers that require corrective adjustment, greatly minimizing viewer fatigue and motion sickness.

The CV620-TBI (black) and CV620-TWI (white) PTZ cameras are built around new highly sensitive Sony sensor technology with 20x optical zoom range of 5~110mm starting at roughly 60° angle-of-view. The CV620-TBI delivers outstanding color reproduction with exceptional detail even in challenging light environments. These new PTZ cameras feature simultaneous HD outputs of 3GSDI, HDMI and IP ethernet connectivity with up to 1920x1080p resolution at 60fps. Also boasting a flexible 340° horizontal range of movement and 120° vertical tilt, the CV620-TBI provides a large reachable viewing area for the new auto-tracking feature.

Wisycom Releases new BFL1 RF-over-fiber Interface at IBC 2022

Wisycom Srl announces its new Wisycom BFL1 RF-over-fiber interface, which will debut at IBC 2022 (Stand 8.D78). A compact, easy-to-set-up module, the BFL1 is an entirely new way for users to support RF coverage and distribution requirements without concern for cable loss. Expanding on Wisycom’s existing RF-over-fiber solutions, the BFL1 features selectable filters, expanded dynamic range, and a long-range Bluetooth 5 programming link. Replacing the need for larger devices that historically supported RF-over-fiber, the single-unit BFL offers the same robustness in a more compact and cost-effective package.

“RF-over-fiber systems can be challenging for users in stadiums, events, large facilities and remote productions, but the Wisycom BFL1 module simplifies the process,” explains Leslie Lello, Wisycom’s Support Manager. “The BFL1 can be easily configured by operators directly through the module’s high-contrast OLED display with navigation buttons. It will also soon be controllable through the Wisycom App, which eliminates the need for network connectivity.”
