Eastern Acoustic Works (EAW®) will be taking the floor at the 2023 ISE Show (Booth 7K140) and showcasing some of its latest audio solutions. Included among these offerings are the brand’s new KF210 2-Way 2 X 10” Line Array and AC6 2-Way Full Range ADAPTive Column Loudspeaker. With both AC6 and KF210 providing the esteemed EAW sound quality and durability, AV professionals are sure to find a reliable solution that is built to last through any venue or application. John Dodson ProCon AV, EAW’s newest manufacturers’ representative for the Middle East and Africa territories, will also be onsite throughout the show.

Offering a max SPL of 141dB, three-point rigging and built-in weather protection, the KF210 is a powerhouse in a small, durable package, designed to support a wide range of applications for the long-haul. Despite its small form, there is no sacrificing output for size with the KF210. This newest solution is physically and acoustically sized to support the most events while requiring the fewest resources to deploy. Weighing in at only 60lbs, this line array solution is an ideal option for small crews operating out of medium to large outdoor festivals, corporate events, houses of worship, performing arts centers or theaters. Featuring dual, symmetrically placed 10-inch woofers, 90 degrees of horizontal bandwidth and a 3in voice coil compression driver mounted to EAW’s patented Isophasic Waveguide, the KF210 can master challenging acoustic spaces with accurate pattern control.

San Diego State University’s New Snapdragon Stadium Scores With EAW® Audio

San Diego State University recently completed its brand new $310 million, 35,000-seat college football venue, Snapdragon Stadium, and crystal-clear sound was of the utmost importance throughout the project. To achieve a new level of stadium design, complete with the latest technology, audio and video design firm WJHW called on Clair Global Integration to install a wide range of future-proofed products. Most notably, Snapdragon Stadium now features over 100 AC6 ADAPTive Column Loudspeakers from Eastern Acoustic Works (EAW®).

“EAW supported the design team during the various phases of the project including early demonstrations, proof of concept and modeling for the AC6 loudspeakers, and exporting data for consultants’ integration into the full system design,” says Mark Graham, Associate Principal, WJHW. “The brand also remained involved throughout the construction process with onsite pretesting, as well as being an integral member of the commissioning and testing team during tuning and calibration of the installed system.”

The AC6 2-Way Full Range ADAPTive Column Loudspeaker from Eastern Acoustic Works (EAW®) has been announced as a finalist for the 38th Annual NAMM Technical Excellence & Creativity (TEC) Awards in the category of Outstanding Technical Achievement. World Stage Lighting Inc. Co-owners Dwight Wood and Devin Sunderland have been providing concert audiences in the Pacific Northwest with crystal-clear sonic experiences for decades. The company was given the opportunity to create a next-level experience for a recent performance by rock band Smash Mouth at Seven Feathers Casino Resort and provided a custom PA featuring the Anna and Otto ADAPTive system from Eastern Acoustic Works (EAW®).

Industry veterans and longtime users of EAW equipment, Wood and Sunderland were immediately impressed when the company introduced its new Anna ADAPTive PA system. “When we first heard Anna and saw what it could do for us and our client’s events, we were blown away,” says Sunderland. “The timing was right, so we seized the opportunity to purchase products from EAW’s ADAPTive line. It’s an amazing system.”

Christ Community Church Unveils EAW® Anna Adaptive Loudspeaker System Upgrade

Surrounded by the scenic views of Alamogordo, the 800-seat Christ Community Church was struggling to provide quality audio with their aging and original PA. With the decision made to upgrade their system, the task of finding a modern solution capable of delivering great sound evenly to every seat was given to Technical Director Jacob Pierce. With a big assist from industry experts Michael Garrison Associates (MGA), Pierce found the solution he was looking for with a custom Anna and Otto ADAPTive system from Eastern Acoustic Works (EAW®).

The new EAW upgrade consists of a total of 12 Anna loudspeaker arrays, four Otto subwoofers and eight EAW JF8 2-way loudspeakers. The eight JF8’s are used as front fill speakers and are spread out evenly from the back of the platform in a trapezoidal pattern. The new EAW ADAPTive PA system is run through an Allen & Heath dLive console.

Hangzhou Esports Center Keeps the Energy High With EAW®

Hangzhou Esports Center, the first professional esports venue in China, recently opened its doors to esports professionals. The starship-shaped venue is the perfect fit for the futuristic and science-fiction feel of esports, but due to the large event space with a long reverberation time, it was a challenge to find an audio system that could achieve the extremely high requirements for esports competitions.

Tasked with providing the overall solution for the Hangzhou Esports Center project, Zhejiang Dafeng Industry Co., Ltd., along with AV distributor and provider, EZPro, designed and delivered a comprehensive PA system utilizing a range of products from Eastern Acoustic Works (EAW®). The venue’s new PA system consists of 36 EAW KF810P line array systems, 12 EAW SB818P|F single 18-inch subwoofers, six EAW SB180zP compact high-output subwoofers, and fill speakers from EAW’s catalog. The system was also designed with EASE4.4 and EAW Resolution sound field simulation software.
