Group One Limited Names Julian Gates Technical Support Engineer for DiGiCo and KLANG

Group One Limited, the US distributor for a number of the pro audio and lighting industries’ leading brands, announces the appointment of Julian Gates as Technical Support Engineer for DiGiCo and KLANG.

Having joined the company in mid-November, Gates is spending the remainder of 2022 in Group One’s Farmingdale, New York office being trained by fellow Technical Support Engineers Chip Sciacca and Trevor Waite. In January, he will transition to the Rock Lititz campus in Lititz, Pennsylvania where he will work with the team based at DiGiCo’s new POD 5 location.

Seven Feathers Casino Resort Receives Smashing Audio From EAW®

World Stage Lighting Inc. Co-owners Dwight Wood and Devin Sunderland have been providing concert audiences in the Pacific Northwest with crystal-clear sonic experiences for decades. The company was given the opportunity to create a next-level experience for a recent performance by rock band Smash Mouth at Seven Feathers Casino Resort and provided a custom PA featuring the Anna and Otto ADAPTive system from Eastern Acoustic Works (EAW®).

Industry veterans and longtime users of EAW equipment, Wood and Sunderland were immediately impressed when the company introduced its new Anna ADAPTive PA system. “When we first heard Anna and saw what it could do for us and our client’s events, we were blown away,” says Sunderland. “The timing was right, so we seized the opportunity to purchase products from EAW’s ADAPTive line. It’s an amazing system.”

ETC’s iRFR and aRFR Apps – Caring for Your Colleagues

ETC presented Behind the Scenes with a check during LDI for $26,493 representing proceeds from sales of the company’s iRFR and aRFR (Radio Focus Remote) applications. Since the launch of the iRFR in 2009, ETC’s mobile app sales have now generated over $465,000 in donations.

The iRFR and aRFR mobile apps enable convenient, touchscreen-based remote control for Eos family consoles and controllers. You can learn more about the apps from the ETC website and download them from the iTunes or Google Play stores.

Speaking Spirit Ministries installs Wavefront Precision at new campus

Speaking Spirit Ministries of Richmond, VA is a non-denominational Christian ministry, which in the space of nine years has expanded to three campuses, offering over 100,000 sq. ft of worship space.

Known as Glen Allen Campus, the Ministry’s latest facility opened recently, and again RTW Media were brought in by pastors, Fred and Inger Wyatt to provide a complete AVL technology infrastructure. Incorporating projection and control, the PA this time was based around a central hang of Martin Audio’s premium Wavefront Precision line array.

Mark Your Calendar: “Be the Spark” Virtual Ignite Celebration on Dec. 8

The NSCA Education Foundation is excited to announce its third virtual celebration to raise funds for Ignite, an industry initiative focused on attracting and retaining next-generation workers in our industry. “Be the Spark” is a completely online experience being held on Dec. 8, 2022, from 5pm to 6:30pm CT.

This year’s event will be hosted by Tim Albright, founder of AVNation. He’ll be joined live by NSCA CEO Chuck Wilson, NSCA Director of Workforce Development Jeff Kindig, and other industry special guests. “Be the Spark” will kick off with a virtual happy hour so attendees can prepare their beverage of choice and get ready to enjoy the evening.
