Technology innovator Matrox® Video and Abcom Distribution LLC, a leading UAE-based AV and IT distributor, are launching the companies’ brand-new distribution partnership at Integrate Middle East, May 21-23, at the World Trade Center in Dubai. Exhibiting together on the Abcom stand (Arena Plaza 1, Stand AR E10) throughout the show, Matrox Video and Abcom will showcase control room collaboration over IP in a demonstration pod featuring Matrox Extio™ 3 IP KVM extenders, a Matrox KMLync USB keyboard/mouse switch, and Matrox Maevex 6100 Series and Maevex 7100 Series encoders and decoders.

“Abcom has nearly two decades of experience bringing innovative AV and IT solutions to customers across the UAE, and the company is an ideal partner not only for our technology demonstration at Integrate Middle East but also for extending the reach of Matrox Video products across the region,” said Cecilia Willis, Country Manager at Matrox Video. “We look forward to this opportunity to highlight the solutions and benefits we can bring to shared customers looking to implement high-performing, next-gen AVoIP workflows.”

Abcom supplies an extensive portfolio of Pro AV products and solutions, as well as consultancy, expert training, system design, and support, to users across the corporate, education, house of worship, government, live event, and healthcare segments. Founded in 2005, the Dubai-headquartered company has established an expansive dealer base in the region.

“Partnership with a leader such as Matrox Video speaks to our commitment to providing best-in-class products to address the region’s increasing appetite for AVoIP,” said Pradeep Kumar, General Manager, Abcom Distribution LLC. “Kicking off our partnership together at Integrate Middle East, we’ll provide practical demonstrations of how Matrox Video solutions empower end users to harness the power of IP.”

Matrox Extio™ 3 IP KVM extenders work with the Matrox KMLync USB keyboard/mouse switch to enhance operator efficiency by enabling remote monitoring and control of systems across a multi-monitor workspace with up to four 4K or 16 full-HD displays. As a result, operators can visualize more data and seamlessly control — with one keyboard and mouse — multiple systems that have 4K/quad-FHD video ports, fast switching, and built-in multiview capability. A secure and scalable IP KVM matrix system, Extio 3 operates at a very low bit rate over Gigabit Ethernet LAN, WAN, and the internet.

Enabling streaming and recording of H.264/H.265 content with ultra-low latency, Matrox Maevex 6100 Series and the new Maevex 7100 Series encoders and decoders support multichannel, ultra-low latency, low bitrate, high-quality, simultaneous streaming and recording and zero-latency pass-through for real-time output of AV content in collaboration-focused environments.
