Vaddio, the global leader in robotic PTZ cameras and camera control systems, is proud to announce the launch of the AV Bridge Nano, a compact AV-to-USB bridge designed to provide seamless connectivity and versatility for videoconferencing. Being shown in booth 2201 at InfoComm 2023 in Orlando, Florida, the AV Bridge Nano is a highly portable video capture and streaming device that complements AV systems in lecture halls, town hall meetings, or houses of worship.

“Video has become paramount for many organizations, whether that’s a videoconference between colleagues or a live production to be shared broadly,” said Darrin Thurston, Vice President and General Manager at Vaddio. “With this increasing trend comes the demand for multifunctional devices that are robust enough to support Pro AV equipment and produce a reliable USB or IP stream. Our new AV Bridge Nano was purpose-built for these applications and is the perfect bridging solution wherever the full functionality of our other AV Bridge solutions isn’t necessary.”

Building upon the success of the AV Bridge Mini and AV Bridge 2×1, the AV Bridge Nano is a brand-new addition to the product family known for its ability to connect professional AV equipment to USB and IP streaming applications with ease. It retains some of the most popular qualities of the full-featured AV Bridge models but in a highly portable, cost-effective device that IT and enterprise users will appreciate.

The AV Bridge Nano enables reliable streaming and video capture scenarios over USB or RTSP/RTMP without needing to purchase two separate devices. The essential feature set makes it ideal for the corporate user in cost-conscious applications that do not require the full functionality of the AV Bridge Mini. Mass deployments and remote management are a snap with the Free Vaddio Deployment Tool, while the Vaddio Device Controller touchscreen accessory adds simple in-room control. The HDMI pass-through feature makes it easy to integrate into Cisco codec setups.

The AV Bridge Nano is compatible with the most popular software conferencing applications, such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, WebEx and others, thanks to its powerful USB 3.0 interface. It can also be used as a USB capture card for ingesting HDMI video into video editing applications, including Adobe Premiere and OBS Studio. Its networking capabilities enable the creation of production-quality live streams on platforms such as YouTube Live, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitch, Dacast, and Panopto.

The smallest chassis in the Vaddio AV Bridge lineup, AV Bridge Nano ensures ultimate portability and installation flexibility. It can be mounted under a table, behind a display, or within a mobile conferencing cart system with the optional table mount. The Kensington lock port provides a layer of security and protection.
