Crossroads Church based in Cincinnati, Ohio, has chosen Ikegami Unicam-XE HDK-X500 HD HDR cameras for a new campus scheduled to open on April 20th. Housed inside Dayton Mall, the 90,000 square foot facility will replace an existing establishment at the city’s Bellbrook Middle School.

Since launching our online Crossroads Anywhere streaming channel, the church has seen a larger engagement from outside of our Metro area.”

HDK-X500 performance parameters include a horizontal resolution of 1,000 TVL (typical centre resolution at 5% modulation), 62 dB typical signal to noise ratio and F11 sensitivity (1080/59.94i). The HDK-X500 is also capable of high frame-rate capture at 2x speed or low-frame-rate capture, both as software license options.
Like the other cameras in the Ikegami Unicam-XE family, the HDK-X500 fully conforms to ITU-R BT.2020 specifications, covering a wider area than the conventional BT.709 color space for HD. In combination with the wide dynamic range of the CMOS sensors, brilliant HDR pictures can be produced by using the pre-installed HLG optoelectronic transfer function conforming to the ITU-R BT.2100 international standard. This allows detailed image reproduction from bright highlights through to deep shadows.
