FILO, which stands for First In and Last Out, is a community of people who volunteer and work in production for their local church. What they do isn’t easy and it isn’t for everyone and since most people don’t totally understand what FILO does, it is so important for them to connect and then stay connected.
The FILO Conference is an event that gathers the group together for skill development, community and inspiration. With Covid-19 keeping many of us from traveling, our in-person gatherings have been put on hold and we have had to learn how to hold virtual events now. One of the advantages of this new method is that they have the ability to extend the FILO Conference to a wider audience. That’s where FILO en Español comes in!
FILO is partnering with some amazing friends in the Latin American community to craft an event for all of the church production people who speak Spanish around the world. On August 21-22, they will be broadcasting a unique FILO Conference event that will be a mixture of some new Spanish content and Spanish subtitled content that originally aired in English at our FILO Chicago event. Since tech people speak the same “language” around the world, we can’t wait for FILO en Español to help make us all more effective so that our churches can be more effective!
If you have a friend from Latin America or if your church has a Spanish language service, consider forwarding this email and invite them to join the FILO Conference en Espanol!
