Just Add Power, a leader in AV-over-IP distribution, is excited to announce that at the CEDIA Expo 2024 in Denver, the company’s 2G+4+ Tiling Transmitter was inducted into the CEDIA Product Hall of Fame, while its MC-QX MaxColor 4K60 Tiling and Warping Transmitter won the CE Pro BEST award for AV-over-IP and the Residential Systems Best of Show award. The 2G+4+ Tiling Transmitter is the third product from Just Add Power to be inducted into the CEDIA Product Hall of Fame, joining the Just Add Power 2G Platform inducted in 2019 and the 3G Ultra 718AVP Transmitter inducted in 2023. Since its debut in 2021, the MaxColor Series has taken home 11 industry awards in total.
“These awards are a testament to the dedication and innovation of our team, who are continually pushing the boundaries of video experiences for our clients,” said Ed Qualls, CEO of Just Add Power. “Customer feedback drives our ongoing product development. As we advance video over IP with the MaxColor Series, we remain committed to supporting legacy systems, giving integrators the flexibility to maximize the return on their entertainment investments. The induction of our 2G+4+ Tiler into the CEDIA Hall of Fame underscores our commitment to providing versatility not only in displays and sources but also in the advanced capabilities clients demand. We are grateful to the judges for their recognition and support.”
Selected by a panel of judges comprising home technology professionals, CEDIA Product Hall of Fame inductees have transformed the CEDIA industry with the value they provide to integrators and end users. Launched in 2015, Just Add Power’s 2G+4+ Tiling Transmitter introduced fast, easy, and scalable video tiling to its HDMI-over-IP video distribution systems. The tiler shows four sources on one screen simultaneously, with several video display options: quad screen, PIP, primary picture on top, and more with simple installation and unlimited scalability.
The Just Add Power MC-QX MaxColor 4K60 Tiling and Warping Transmitter combines the company’s MaxColor technology, 4K network video tiler, and Warp Engine technology. It allows 4K60 source devices to be displayed on a single screen instantly, along with source rotation capabilities. Users can simultaneously watch up to four 4K60 video sources in multiple formats, including single-screen, video wall, or tiled video. With the MC-QX warping capability, installers can rotate any source image in a Just Add Power matrix — cable boxes, media players, game systems, cameras, and more — in 0.1-degree increments in real time with incredibly low latency. The rotated image can then be sent to an unlimited number of receivers in the network, allowing for the creation of massive artistic video walls using a single MC-QX.
Since being introduced, the MaxColor family of products has received a host of industry accolades. In 2021, the MaxColor Series 1 earned Residential Systems Best of Show at CEDIA. In 2022, it earned Commercial Integrator’s BEST Award at InfoComm and CE Pro’s BEST Award at CEDIA. In 2023, the MaxColor Series 2 took home the Sound & Video Contractor (SVC) Best of Show at ISE, AV Technology’s Best of Show at InfoComm, CE Pro’s BEST, and Residential Systems Best of Show awards at CEDIA. Earlier this year, the company added SVC’s Best of Show at ISE for the MC-QX and the SVC Best of Show at InfoComm for the MC-TX3 MaxColor 4K60 Series Transmitter.
