Group One Limited, the US distributor for a number of leading pro audio and lighting industry manufacturers, announces that it has appointed Travis Strain to the newly-created post of West Coast Sales for the DiGiCo, Fourier Audio, KLANG, MC, Sound Devices, and XTA brands. News of the hire comes from Matt Larson, Group One Vice President, Professional Audio Products, to whom Strain directly reports.
Based in Southern California, Strain comes to the distributor as a seasoned audio engineer with nearly two decades of experience. In the past several years, he has served as a touring FOH engineer for R&B artists SWV and Jodeci, as well as rappers Lil Baby and DaBaby. Strain has also worked as a monitor engineer, systems engineer, and stage/patch/service tech, plus supported numerous sound companies, including Brown Note Productions, Eighth Day Sound, Prairie Sun Live, Sound Image, and Spider Ranch Productions, among others.
