Legrand | AV holds grand opening to new headquarters in Minnetonka, Minn.
Part of Company’s Growth Strategy, the New Facility Brings Together Key Administrative Functions and a Product Development Suite Serving Multiple Legrand | AV Brands
Legrand | AV, a global specialist and industry leader in audio visual solutions and key part of Legrand, North and Central America, officially opened the doors of its new headquarters in Minnetonka, Minnesota, on Oct. 1. The opening of the new location marks a major milestone in the company’s growth and commitment to invention, collaboration, and community. The new headquarters, located at 10900 Red Circle Drive in Minnetonka, joins multiple functions into a single location, offering a flexible and sustainable workplace designed to foster innovation and growth.
The 98,000-square-foot facility features abundant natural light, open and flexible workspaces, and integrated Legrand | AV technologies throughout, including lighting, outlets, motion detectors, AV solutions, and infrastructure systems. Nearly all existing furniture was reused or sourced as high-quality pre-owned pieces, minimizing waste and underscoring the company’s focus on responsible design.
The grand opening ceremony featured remarks from Brian DiBella, president and CEO of Legrand, North and Central America, and Pam Hoppel, president of Legrand | AV, alongside city and state officials, and community partners. Following those remarks, a dedication of a Burr Oak tree was held, symbolizing the company’s commitment to its roots in the United States and strategy for sustainable growth.
“This new headquarters reflects our vision for the future,” said DiBella. “It was designed as a place where our teams can thrive and collaborate, our culture can grow, and our long-term strategy can take root. We are investing in people, innovation, and partnerships that will help us scale sustainably and deliver meaningful impact for our customers and communities.”
Hoppel highlighted the new facility’s collaborative design, sustainable practices, and integration of Legrand technologies, noting that the headquarters will bring together key teams across marketing, sales, product management, engineering, finance, IT, customer care, technical support, and operations.
“This beautiful space was built with people in mind,” Hoppel said. “The thoughtful design will encourage collaboration, spark innovation, and nurture connection — a place where ideas can flourish. By uniting our teams under one roof, we are creating the foundation to grow with purpose together.”
Legrand’s Better Communities program is dedicated to improving lives through volunteerism and charitable giving by supporting local nonprofits that focus on building Better Homes and Neighborhoods, Better Schools, and Better Well-being. As part of this program commitment, Legrand | AV partnered with the ICA Food Shelf and Project Linus during the event. Employees and guests assembled weekend food bags for local students in need and made blankets for children facing hardship. Legrand also presented a donation to ICA in support of its mission to serve families across the region.
The day’s celebration included tours of the new headquarters, a building showcase of Legrand products across lighting, AV, and infrastructure.
