Industry veteran will drive sales and business development efforts for broadcast, worship and adjacent ProAV verticals through Southeast US region
KOKUSAI DENKI Electric America continues to build momentum six months into its rebranding from Hitachi Kokusai Electric with the appointment of industry veteran Adam Daniul to its sales team. Reporting to National Sales Manager Kenneth Cyr, Daniul takes on the role of Southeast Regional Manager effective immediately, initially covering the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas.
Daniul’s territory is a consistently busy region given its rich customer base across broadcast television, higher education and houses of worship. That is music to his ears given the fact that he joins KOKUSAI DENKI direct from FOR-A Corporation, a company with strong brand recognition in these and other adjacent business verticals. His 12 years of experience at FOR-A, including nearly four years as VP Sales and more than five years serving the Southeast, has also kept him well-versed in regional business trends, some of which share parallels across verticals.
“The HOW market in particular has always favored very high-quality broadcast equipment, and many worship facilities in the Southeast have affiliations with religious broadcast networks or operate their own broadcast or streaming outlets,” said Daniul. “KOKUSAI DENKI cameras check all the boxes for video production teams supporting broadcast and in-house AV services including quick set-up, user-friendliness, competitive pricing, and pristine image quality.”
Daniul will leverage his strong industry relationships across the region and brand knowledge to develop new business, drive sales, and serve existing customers across KOKUSAI DENKI’s customer base. Those customers include both end users and the company’s regional channel partner network, including integrators, dealers and rental houses. Daniul’s depth of experience also includes several years with a distribution firm and a manufacturer’s representative which, along with his time at FOR-A, have prepared him with a broad industry of how the channel business operates and thrives.
“Adam’s commitment to working with both the channel and end customers sends the message that he pays attention to the specific requirements of every project, each of which has unique needs based on the customer involved,” said Cyr. “His more than two decades of industry experience, strong relationship skills and technical expertise has helped in building industry relationships and develop a winning formula for increasing brand visibility and market share. We look forward to his contributions.”
