New gear and updates address evolving hybrid IP workflow and infrastructure demands across the media, entertainment, and proAV industries

AJA Video Systems today unveiled a host of products and updates that simplify and accelerate SMPTE ST 2110 transitions and optimize signal flow across broadcast, production, post, and proAV environments. The company will demonstrate the solutions during NAB Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center from April 19-22, 2026, at the AJA booth N1927.

AJA’s new BRIDGE LIVE IP ST 2110 gateway device and IP25-R Mini-Converter update advance interoperability in hybrid production settings that leverage both IP and baseband media and equipment. OG-GEN10, an openGear HD/SD/AES-11 sync generator, solves common timing challenges, while Desktop Software v18 delivers new improvements that enhance downstream keying and expand I/O bandwidth for select KONA and Corvid products.

“Rapid technological evolution is redefining how content is created and delivered across industries, unlocking extraordinary possibilities but introducing new obstacles along the way. Our latest innovations help to clear the path, solving common IP and infrastructure pain points that hold media professionals back as they adopt SMPTE ST 2110 and transition to increasingly sophisticated pipelines,” said AJA President Nick Rashby.

BRIDGE LIVE IP SMTPE ST 2110/IP Video Gateway

BRIDGE LIVE IP enables bi-directional SMPTE ST 2110 conversion to and from popular streaming IP video and audio codecs and transport protocols. Packaging flexible encoding, decoding, and transcoding functionality into a 1RU, the device transmits and receives up to four channels of UltraHDp60 or up to eight channels of 1080p60 HD. BRIDGE LIVE IP enables productions to seamlessly move diverse IP media types into and out of 10/25GigE ST 2110 infrastructures. The gateway device is available today through AJA’s worldwide reseller network for $17,999 US MSRP.

IP25-R v2.0 Update

New v2.0 firmware for IP25-R expands the SMPTE ST 2110 to 12G-SDI /HDMI Mini-Converter’s feature set, with a new Tx (transmit) mode enabling 12G-SDI to ST 2110 or HDMI conversion. The latest update also increases supported video and audio channel counts in Rx (receive) mode from four to six streams. An integrated test signal generator for ST 2110 network setup simplifies operation and troubleshooting.   IP25-R v2.0 will be available soon as a free download from AJA Support.

openGear OG-GEN10 HD/SD Sync Generator

OG-GEN10 is an HD/SD/AES-11 sync generator offering simultaneous HD tri-level and SD sync output. Featuring nine HD/SD reference outputs and one AES-11 reference output, the openGear-compatible solutionsolves common timing challenges, allowing production and post teams to lock more equipment to a master clock. Building on AJA’s popular GEN10 Mini-Converter feature set, OG-GEN10 delivers more reference outputs, redundant power options via the openGear chassis, and remote control through Ross DashBoard software. It is available today through AJA’s worldwide reseller network for $795 US MSRP.

Desktop Software v18 Update

Coming soon as a free download from AJA Support for Mac, Windows, and Linux, the latest Desktop Software v18 update for AJA Desktop and Mobile I/O solutions unlocks powerful enhancements. It brings 10-bit RGBA support to AJA Corvid 44 and Corvid 88, and simultaneous capture and playout of two video channels (up to 1080p60) to AJA KONA X and KONA XM I/O cards. AJA customers on macOS can also now integrate with the Avid OpenIO SDK, and leverage the macOS Driver Extension (DEXT) for Apple silicon systems.

Get a deep dive on AJA’s latest solutions, and demo them at NAB 2026, booth N1927.
