BenQ Launches LH850ST Projector Designed for Consumer and Commercial Projection Mapping at Industry Event in St. Louis

BenQ, an internationally renowned provider of visual display and collaboration solutions, today announced that the company will be working with Iron, Wood & Glitter to showcase the new BenQ LH850ST projector designed specifically for projection mapping and immersive applications at the TransWorld Trade Shows being held Feb. 27-March 2 in St. Louis. The show will co-feature TransWorld’s Christmas Show and TransWorld’s Halloween & Attractions Show over the course of four days at America’s Center in downtown St. Louis.

“We’re excited to partner with Iron, Wood & Glitter to demonstrate our immersive projector technology at the TransWorld Trade Show,” said Bob Wudeck, senior director of business development at BenQ. “The new LH850ST is designed specifically for home and commercial projection mapping, either on a stand-alone basis or with multiple projectors blended together. It can assist in bringing inanimate objects to life and projecting massive, vibrant images on the side of a house, in a haunted house, or anywhere else projection mapping can be deployed.”

TransWorld’s Christmas Show and TransWorld’s Halloween & Attractions Show take place in a 500,000-square-foot exhibition space where hundreds of exhibitors will be showcasing holiday-related products. BenQ has partnered with Iron, Wood & Glitter for the world premiere of “Snowball & Flurry,” a portable projection and special effects show about a snowman’s quest to harness his budding magic. The show features four BenQ short-throw laser projectors displaying a blend of cartoon and projection animation wrapped in an original story and soundtrack.

BenQ’s LH850ST 4,000 ANSI lumen laser projector features a 0.5 short-throw lens, Rec. 709 color, 1080p resolution, and a new form factor case, making it ideal for indoor or outdoor interactive entertainment and commercial space exhibitions. It includes BenQ’s unique factory white balance adjustment for seamless multiprojector setups and a specialized simulation mode that enhances greens, yellows, and reds for lifelike visuals. The projector supports 24/7 operation and incorporates BenQ’s IP5X-certified sealed laser engines that protect critical components from dust and debris, eliminating the recurring maintenance costs associated with cleaning filters that are found in traditional simulation projectors. The projector retails for $1,999.
