The all new E-Vision 15000i 4K boasts a newly upgraded electronics platform that maintains its reputation of exceptional reliability but with a host of new features. Central to the new design is the implementation of Texas Instrument’s new 0.8” High Efficiency Pixel (HEP) DMD. This new DMD allows for a higher brightness than was previously attainable on the 0.67” DMD, as well as superior color and contrast without compromising any of the reliability that DLP projectors are known for.
This new DMD is optimized for solid state illumination meaning that we have been able to push the brightness to an unprecedented 16,000 ISO lumens. Add to this the increased tilt angle on the DMD mirrors that allows for a wider color gamut, and notably, “blacker blacks”, are achieved by diverting light away more efficiently from the lens when the mirror is in the “off” position giving much improved native contrast.
Key to its imaging quality, this laser-phosphor projector is charged with ColorBoost + Red Laser technology to provide the most realistic and saturated colours at previously unreachable luminance levels.
