Just Add Power MC-TXWP1 Wall Plate Brings Greater Flexibility to the Award-Winning MaxColor Series
Just Add Power, a leader in AV-over-IP distribution, today announced the latest solution in its award-winning MaxColor series, the MC-TXWP1 Wall Plate. Being shown for the first time in Booth W845 at InfoComm 2024 in Las Vegas, June 12-14, the new wall plate supports HDMI 4K60 input and distribution of source devices, perfect for BYOD, UC&C, and huddle environments.
“At Just Add Power, we design for change,” said Taft Stricklin, chief sales officer for Just Add Power. “Our new MaxColor wall plate provides integrators with another option for supporting native 4K60 distribution of BYOD sources where quality of experience is critical. Like the rest of the Just Add Power solutions, it features all the tenets of scalability, flexibility, reliability, as well as the ease of installation and control installers love.”
The new Just Add Power MaxColor MC-TXWP1 PoE thin two-gang HDMI wall plate transmitter provides integrators with a convenient HDMI port that natively supports computer and video resolution up to 4K/60 at 4:4:4 and deep color up to 36-bit. It distributes 4K UHD video from connected 4K BYOD sources with no downscaling or subsampling over a 1Gb managed network using Cat-5e/Cat-6 cable. It delivers instant, seamless switching, 4K up- and downscaling, and HDR management while supporting all lossless audio formats and HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Vision for the best viewing experience. Other features include control of endpoints with CEC and the ability to view a live MJPEG stream up to 30fps as well as a snapshot image in any web browser or control system, at up to 10fps. To match any decor, the unit’s faceplate is available in black, white, or custom colors.
Just Add Power’s award-winning MaxColor 4K60 technology was introduced in 2021 to facilitate the distribution of 4K video content from any source to any screen, enabling businesses to display vivid and detailed imagery across an entire venue. Whether it’s for broadcasting live events, deploying a multiscreen video wall, or creating a specific ambiance with digital artwork, Just Add Power’s MaxColor Series has the flexibility to deliver virtually lossless 4K high-quality visual experiences that elevate any space. All MaxColor products can distribute 4K60/4:4:4/36-bit-color video over a 1Gb managed network using CatX (Cat 5e minimum) cable, while the MC-TX2 and MC-RX2 provide the option of using fiber, so integrators can use the cable that best fits their projects.
