The cavlo Tech Show is Ramping up Partnerships to Increase Networking Connections

They say good things come in ‘two’s”, and that’s what the cavlo trade show is announcing. At the beginning of February, cavlo announced a major sponsorship with premier manufacturers rep, Vision2 Marketing. Today they’ve added Technologies for Worship magazine as a Media Partner to amplify the networking and connections for show attendees and exhibitors.

“The House of Worship vertical is a perfect pairing for cavlo and its’ AVL exhibitors. Technologies for Worship is a powerful resource for our exhibitors to utilize to showcase new products, but it’s also an ideal partnership as our attendees’ hail from the audio-visual-lighting (AVL) and House of Worship communities in the Nashville and surrounding areas. Partnerships like this increase connections and networking among attendees with common interests, which is a win-win,” says Mike Brown-Cestero, Managing Director.

cavlo is the show for AVL pros to ideate, integrate, and operate with a mix of specifiers, integrators, production folks and end users in attendance. Successful shows in Vegas and Dallas proved to be a great combination of education, networking, and trade show exhibits. cavlo will take place on May 11th at The Embassy Suites Nashville South Cool Springs Hotel in Franklin, Tennessee. An Opening Reception will be held the evening of the 10th and will be followed by a one-day trade show that will feature exhibit booths and panel discussions; it will be a great opportunity for AVL folks in the Southeastern US to convene. Registration for the show will open on March 14th for interested attendees. cavlo is a trade-only event.

HOW-TO Matrix Intercom Systems

In Audio, Audio Product Reviews, home_pageby admin

by Christian Diehl
Intercom systems today come in many different shapes and sizes. When considering an intercom system, it is important to prioritize the things that are important. Make sure that you get the sound quality and scalability that you need!
In terms of sound quality, digital systems will provide the highest quality sound with virtually no hums or buzzes. In a quiet church environment, extra noise can be especially annoying. In a concert environment or during outdoor services, the ability to hear and be heard are not just instrumental to the success of the production, but often can be key elements in the safety of the production crew and audience alike.
Scalability is a completely different issue because it’s something that can be easily overlooked or disregarded. Yet, in an effort to make your productions better or to service and reach more people, it is often necessary to grow your intercom system. The ability to do so without spending a lot of time, money, and spirit is the essence of scalability.

LINCROFT, NEW JERSEY: St. Leo the Great Church was established in Lincroft, New Jersey over sixty years ago during the area’s suburban boom of the late 1950s. Its beautiful sanctuary seats approximately 800 people but provides tough acoustics for intelligibility, a problem that had previously been dealt unsatisfactorily with several lines of delay loudspeakers. Recently, local AV integration firm Concept Professional Systems designed and installed a beautifully simple new sound reinforcement system at St. Leo the Great Church. Ditching the delays and relying on Danley Sound Labs’ famous pattern control and phase-coherent, long distance throw, the church now enjoys intelligible speech and lively music reinforcement from the front pew to the back pew.
