Simplified system setup and limitless scalability addressed in multimedia presentation
On March 6th Allen & Heath and Audinate hosted Network Simplicity that Scales from Sanctuary to Stage, a one-hour webinar that examined the simplified setup, nearly limitless scalability, and cost savings inherent within networked systems. Presented by Allen & Heath Marketing Manager Jeff Hawley and Senior V.P. Tim Schaeffer, along with Audinate Technical Sales Engineer Bernie Farkus, Sr. and Mix Magazine Content Director Tom Kenny, the free program discussed the basic principles of network audio and how Dante, Audinate’s audio-over-Ethernet technology, is a useful tool for those just starting out or ready to grow big with advanced operation and control.
Beginning with a basic overview of Dante and moving through scalability issues ranging from size to sophistication, Audinate’s Bernie Farkus concluded his portion of the presentation with a discussion of converged networks and the management of a multi-tiered corporate AV system. In turn, Allen & Heath’s Hawley and Schaeffer offered webinar viewers a look at video case studies employing the technology at a house of worship, in a school, and on tour. With thousands of registrants for the event, viewers actively participated, and asked questions revealing a keen interest in the technology for a broad range of applications.
