LynTec, a leading manufacturer of innovative electrical power control solutions for professional audio, video, and lighting systems, will display its expansive electrical options and new enhancements to its market-leading RPC platform at LDI 2016. Held Oct. 17-23 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, the event will give attendees the opportunity to see how the platform’s new dimming control and panels can be incorporated into power and lighting control designs for AVL installs.

“We’re committed to offering our customers time-tested power and control solutions that improve efficiency, performance, and ease of use,” said Mark Bishop, president of LynTec. “With a long history within the electrical world and a deep wealth of lighting and control expertise, we continue to push the boundaries of conventional and emerging lighting systems to create innovative solutions that allow customers to leverage the latest technology while solving the complex power, heat and control challenges inherent to these systems. Come by our booth 1846 to test drive our new features and let us know what you think.”

On display at LDI 2016 will be LynTec’s flagship line of RPC remote control breaker panels. The panels make it possible for LynTec customers to add more circuits in the same horizontal wall space to control a greater number of components, as needed. Taking advantage of a change in the National Electrical Code, the RPC panels support 48, 66, and 84 circuit breaker positions. Previously, RPC panels were available only with 30 or 42 circuit breaker slots. Customers have incremental options between the 30- and 84-position panels with no increase in width. All RPC panels leverage the RPC controller’s ability to address up to 168 motorized circuit breakers. The new panels are also available as main lug only (MLO) and main circuit breaker (MCB) in 225-, 400- and 600-amp interiors.

Also new to the RPC family of control panels is the capability to add dimming control. This new feature is being demonstrated for the first time at LDI 2016. LynTec has combined breaker/relay switching with 0-10VDC dimming in a single RPC panel for DMX512 or streaming ACN (E1.31, sACN). This now allows analog low-voltage dimming and power on/off switching for each controlled individual DMX or sACN channel and line voltage circuit. Up to 64 0-10VDC dimming positions can be combined in a breaker or relay panel. The new feature and hardware seamlessly work together through LynTec’s popular and easy-to-use built-in web server.
