LynTec, a leading manufacturer of innovative electrical power control solutions for professional audio, video, and lighting (AVL) systems, today announced that the company’s Narrow Profile Panelboards were named Best of Show at InfoComm 2021 by Sound and Video Contractor Magazine. After being reviewed by the award’s judging panel, on the show floor in Orlando, Florida, the Narrow Profile Panelboards garnered the honor. In addition, the solution recently won a 2021 Commercial Integrator BEST Award in the building enhancements category for power conditioning, surge suppression, and energy solutions.

“We’re delighted to receive this award for one of our most unique solutions,” said Mark Bishop, President of LynTec. “The Narrow Profile Panelboards were developed in direct response to feedback from our InfoComm customers that build their installs with our flagship RPC Series but required more support for lighting control. The flexibility offered by the Narrow Profile enables installers to offer robust power control using a fraction of the space required by a traditional power panel. We’re especially honored that this win came at InfoComm where we could share the product with our customers in person after a long time apart.”

LynTec, a leading manufacturer of innovative electrical power control solutions for professional audio, video, and lighting (AVL) systems, announced that Sapphire Sound, in collaboration with GerrAudio, deployed LynTec’s AVL power control in the storied Jack Singer Concert Hall in Calgary. Part of Calgary Alberta’s Arts Commons facility, it is one of the most acclaimed venues in North America. It is home to the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, BD&P World Stage, and TD Jazz.

While COVID-19 forced the JSCH to remain closed to the public throughout 2020 and into the 2021 season, the not-for-profit space was able to use the downtime to overhaul its AVL systems. A feature of the overhaul was the installation of a flexible Meyer Sound system that can easily be reconfigured to accommodate multiple audience seating arrangements, depending on the type of show being performed on stage. To achieve this, the team at the Jack Singer brought in local AV integrator Sapphire Sound; GerrAudio Distribution, Meyer Sound’s Canadian distributor; and Meyer Sound to come up with a hybrid system.
