Yamaha Professional Audio has announced the early summer 2015 release of the new ProVisionaire App for iPad available via download on iTunes. The App provides a premium, fully customizable, control interface for the MTX and new MRX Processor to meet the needs of individual commercial spaces such as conference rooms, retail stores, restaurants, banquet halls, and more. The processors are part of the highly successful Yamaha Commercial Installation Solutions (CIS) Series. The new App will be shown at InfoComm 2015, booth #727.
Multiple control pages and levels allow installers to provide their customers with a control surface and individual presets and parameter settings optimized for different zones, enhancing controllability, and also providing multiple levels of security and password protection. The ProVisionaire Touch feature makes it easy to arrange faders, switches, photos, etc. via the intuitive tablet device interface to create original touch control panels that ideally match the individual installation requirements. No programming is required.
Completed control panels can be exported as data files. The exported data files can be used as templates for multiple iPads at the same installation, or when setting up a new installation at a separate location, while making a notable difference in set up speed and efficiency.
Since MTX/MRX devices are controlled via Wi-Fi, the iPad can be mounted on any convenient wall surface for use as a wall controller, or handheld, for maximum remote control freedom and convenience.
“MTX and MRX installs can take advantage of this great tool without adding any significant cost for a control system, states Marc Lopez, Marketing Manager, Yamaha Professional Audio. The design is created from within the App, so no PC or Mac software is required, and customers’ logo, artwork, and photos can be incorporated to create a truly custom control environment.”
