CCI Solutions today announced that Ron Simonson has stepped down as President and CEO and as a member of the Board of Directors. The Board has appointed Bob Schmidt President to ensure a smooth transition and to lead CCI’s executive team. Bob Schmidt, Jerry Lamb, EVP and Mark Bradley, EVP will comprise a new collaborative leadership team for the corporation. Mark Bradley will be directing the systems integration activities of the corporation and Jerry Lamb will be continuing to direct the company’s retail activities. Bob Schmidt will oversee the finance and operations aspects of the corporation.

Mr. Simonson stated, “After 36 years as part of the CCI Solutions family, the last seven of which have been as the President and CEO, I am announcing my resignation and retirement. CCI Solutions is an outstanding company with creative and talented employees. I am proud of what we have accomplished together. I remain very optimistic about CCI’s future in all respects.

“We thank Ron for his contributions to CCI Solutions over the last 36 years”, said Mr. Schmidt. “As President and CEO for the past seven years, Ron has worked hard to lead the Company through challenging transitions in our industry, an unprecedented recession and was instrumental in driving change in the organization. We appreciate Ron’s leadership and the many important strategic initiatives he has driven for the Company and wish Ron all the best.”

As for the future, the executive team is looking forward to the new collaborative leadership approach which will bring a strong unified team style to the company’s management.
