ISE 2015 Preview: Symetrix Returns to the RAI
Digital signal processing specialist Symetrix has announced that it will return to Integrated Systems Europe (10-12 February 2015) for the eighth consecutive year, co-exhibiting on stand 3-C128 with its Dutch distributor Iemke Roos.
Alongside a display of its established Dante™-based DSPs such as SymNet Edge and SymNet Radius AEC, Symetrix will showcase an upgraded version of Radius 12×8. Launched in December 2014, SymNet Radius 12×8 EX offers the same compact 1U footprint as its predecessor, with the added benefit of an expansion slot to future-proof installations and reduce the need to ‘swap out’ DSPs if project requirements change. The expansion slot accommodates all SymNet I/O cards, including AEC, telephone, analogue and digital input/output, and the newly-released SIP-based SymNet 2 Line VoIP Card, which is Cisco®- and Asterisk®-compatible.
SymNet Composer 3.0, a recently-launched update to the manufacturer’s award-winning SymNet Composer 2.0 open-architecture programming software, will also be available for demonstration on the booth. Heralded as a major development for multi-manufacturer interoperability, SymNet Composer 3.0 offers native integration of select Dante-enabled products from Attero Tech, Stewart Audio, Shure Incorporated and Audio-Technica. The software allows integrators to program an entire Dante-based system from source to amplifier through a single software environment, where previously three or more were required — delivering significant labour, time and cost savings.
In-addition to the selection of newly-launched products, Symetrix will also be displaying a broad range of other DSP devices, including the open-architecture SymNet Solus DSP, fixed-architecture Jupiter and Zone Mix 761, alongside a wide-range of control options including ARC-WEB browser-based control, low-cost ARC wall panels and SymVue custom-GUI programming software.
The DSP manufacturer will hold a range of pre-show training sessions on 9th February at the Amsterdam City Novotel to update partners on the benefits of Symetrix audio processing products. Presented by Brooke Macomber, managing director, global sales and marketing, and Mark Ullrich, international sales manager, the courses will cover SymNet Composer 3.0, programming and design concepts for the SymNet platform and the opportunity to explore a range of recent high-profile Symetrix installations.
