Mt Pisgah UMCMount Pisgah United Methodist Church in Johns Creek, Georgia recently added two CL5s and CL1 Digital Audio Console to its sanctuary; a CL5 and CL1 are located at the front of house location and the second CL5 at monitors. Muzeek World of Corona, CA was responsible for the upgrade. Long familiar with Yamaha digital consoles having owned a 96-channel PM1D, the CL console set up will enable the church to cascade the two front of house consoles together for the desired channel count necessary for the sanctuary.

“The CL5 will also be used as a Broadcast console, set up as a stereo board and integrated with Nuendo for multi-tracking,” states John Sardari, senior AV account manager for Muzeek World.

The 2500-seat Mount Pisgah UMC currently has over 2500 members in its congregation. Two services are held on Sunday, both traditional and contemporary, with full orchestra and a 100-voice choir along with rhythm section and soloists.

Let There be Sound: APG Completes First Uniline Church Installation in China

In Install Newsby admin

untitledAPG North East Asia has announced completion of its first Uniline house of worship installation in China. Situated in Shantou, the 3,000 capacity Shantou Sheng Ming Tang church is one of the biggest in the Guangdong province.

The project was carried out by MPHK Group Ltd, the Hong Kong based APG dealer, who installed the entire sound system as well as HD video and LED stage lighting solutions. The project was completed in just a month, from system design to implementation.

“The main acoustical challenge was to overcome the unwanted resonance due to the size of the church,” remembers APG North and Eastern Asia Managing Director Raymond Wong. “Its high ceilings and the presence of two corridors on each side of the room were challenging as they created unwanted resonance. Because the Uniline range is easily controllable, we knew we would easily overcome those challenges and provide consistent coverage and high intelligibility for the public”

HOLLYWOOD’S MOSAIC CHURCH FINDS DANLEY GEAR PERFECT FOR CHALLENGING WORSHIP SPACE

In Install Newsby admin

J2-Frosted-Glass-RecoveredThe history of Mosaic Church goes back to the 1940s, when the then-called Bethel Baptist Church met for the first time with 35 members in a rented storefront. In the ensuing decades, the church broke records for missionaries and founded numerous churches throughout southern California and the world. Today, Mosaic maintains that drive with a (very) contemporary worship style that’s big on energy and spirit. The church moved into a new 750-seat sanctuary in 2012 with the sound reinforcement system that had been designed for its previous space. It didn’t fit very well, but now Mosaic is back to rocking concert-style services with a full-blooded Danley Sound Labs sound reinforcement system, with point-source clarity, low distortion, stellar pattern control, and abundant SPL.

PixelFLEX helps transform a new worship environment for Calvary Chapel

In Web Articlesby admin

untitledWorship Pastor Tony Monto uses FLEXLite 3.9mm LED video technology to create an ideal worship environment during a temporary relocation of the worship family.

Located in Las Vegas, NV, Calvary Chapel Spring Valley is a growing worship family who is also dedicated to building a strong educational foundation through the Calvary Chapel Christian School on site as well. As the congregation has now outgrown their current facility, they have temporarily relocated to the school’s gymnasium in order to hold their worship services. With a desire to bring LED video into the new facility as well, Calvary Chapel then took this opportunity to incorporate the technology into the gymnasium environment and they did so using FLEXLite 3.99mm LED from PixelFLEX.

“When we began our capital building campaign, we knew we wanted LED video in our new worship facility, but we also needed it to help create a more ideal environment in the gymnasium during our relocation,” began Tony Monto, Worship and Young Adults Pastor. “When looking at which LED product to choose we were driven by size and wanting to get the highest quality within our budget, but we also had to be aware of weight since the wall would be temporarily hung in the school gymnasium. Also keeping in mind that we would have to set-up and tear-down the wall each week, we first started looking at LED curtains, but as we started speaking with PixelFLEX they explained how the best solution would be the FLEXLite 3.9mm and they were completely right.”
